The main format is stroke play. Play your own ball.

Lowest total gross score after three rounds wins the DATT Cup.

Lowest net score wins the Golden Hot Dog.

After day 2, the bottom four players on the leaderboard are “cut” and will compete in the Losers Bracket on day 3.

The format of the Losers Bracket is a 2v2 best ball match, everyone continues to play their own ball. The team with the lowest individual score wins the hole. The tie breaker for the cut line is total net score. Lower net score makes the cut, higher score goes to the losers bracket.

The group with the lowest AVERAGE net score of the tournament wins the Horniest Group Award. We’re doing average instead of cumulative this year to make it more fair for the threesomes.

• Each day, each player will be given a randomly drawn match play opponent in their group. Everyone will play a front 9 and a back 9 match against the same opponent.
• Strokes will be given based on the difference in handicap. For example, Player A has a 10 handicap and Player B has a 13 handicap. Player B gets three strokes off, one stroke each given on the 1, 2, and 3 handicap holes listed on the scorecard. NOTE: deducted strokes are only to determine who wins the hole in the match, write down your real scores on the scorecard. Since this is a normal 18 hole course, don’t do the weird split-strokes-in-half thing we did last year. After the front and the back nine, record who won each match and the margin of victory. Whoever has the best record after all six matches is the weekend match play winner. Cumulative margin of victory is the tie breaker, so don’t stop scoring if someone clinches before early.
• Players in the threesome groups will be playing a Three-Ball match play format. A Three-Ball match means each player is playing in two simultaneous matches against the other two players in the group. Player A is playing a match against Player B as well as another one against Player C at the same time. After each hole, determine which of your opponents you won/lost/tied the hole to. NOTE: rather than two none hole matches, these groups will be playing full 18 hole matches. This allows everyone to play two matches per day.
• Let The Commissioner know if you need help figuring out where/how many strokes to give out.

On day 3 we’ll designate a long drive hole. Your drive must stay in the fairway to qualify. If you set the new longest drive, move the marker to where your ball ended up. Longest drive wins the Big Strong Man Award.

• Ready golf: Keep it moving. Stay with the group ahead; do not hold up the group behind.
• Scoring: Each group keeps paper scorecards AND enters scores in 18Birdies for net score purposes. Do not use Tournament Mode.
• Mulligans: Each player is allowed one mulligan per nine holes, tee shots only. Use it or lose it, unused mulligans do not carry over. Wait to take your mulligan until after everyone else has hit their first tee shot.
• Gimmes: Allowed only if granted by your match play opponent(s). You cannot give yourself a gimme.
• Roll Over Rule: You may roll your ball if it is in a divot or against a rock/root that risks damaging a club or causing injury. Do not abuse this—no rolling several feet to escape an unplayable or to simply improve a lie. Inform a playing partner when you roll your ball.
• Par-3 Shotgun: If all tee shots on a par 3 land on the green, the group must shotgun a beer. Note: Shotguns are allowed and encouraged regardless of outcome.
• Side action: Allowed and encouraged. Find a partner and bet money, drinks, hot dogs, anything. Get as degenerate as you want with it.
• PED Policy: Players found to NOT be using some form of performance enhancing drugs will be punished.
